Meet the Footprints Family
The Hickling family from Coalville have pledged to improve their environmental performance and reduce their carbon footprint over a year, as part of the District Council's Footprint Challenge.
The Hicklings started their challenge in October 2008; find out how they have been getting on every month by clicking on the links at the bottom of the page.
More about the Family
Phil
I have been a professional painter and decorator since 1988. I am a keen DIYer and have successfully undertaken major improvements to our family home. Fishing, family time and my X Box 360 are all things close to my heart.
Clare
For the past seven years I have been lucky to have been a stay at home mum/housewife. Just recently I have started a part time job at my children's school which along with being a parent governor, chair of PTA and volunteer helper at school, keeps me very busy!
Erin
I enjoy swimming, singing, cycling and have just started violin and recorder lessons at school. I have fun playing with my little brother and am a whizz at tennis on the Wii.
Isaac
I have just started at big school and have made lots of new friends. I love playing football in the garden and bouncing on the trampoline. Bedtime stories with Daddy are the best!
