Green Footprints Business Network
The Green Footprints Business Network is open to businesses of all sizes located within North West Leicestershire and aims to help local companies reduce their environmental footprint. The Network meets quarterly and provides a great opportunity to network, share good practice (as well as problems) and learn about useful environmental opportunities and contacts.
Meetings are hosted by network members, who have the opportunity to share their green achievements with others. The Network is co-ordinated by North West Leicestershire District Council and members are encouraged to take part in district-wide Green Footprints promotional events relating to green issues such as energy, waste, transport and water use. The idea is to encourage businesses and their employees to get involved to help make the district a cleaner and greener place to live, work and visit.
