Ashfield In2Focus Extension

The new extension to Ashfield In2Focus’s Headquarters make a striking impact as you approach the town of Ashby de la Zouch from the north. Its fun and futuristic appearance together with its smooth yet striking angles and curves help to create a contemporary building that you won’t see anywhere else.

Hicks Lodge Cycle Centre

Set deep within the National Forest, this low lying building uses natural materials of stone and timber blends well into the landscape. Its modest appearance disguise an impressive set of environmental credentials. Its woodchip boiler and solar panels provide heating and hot water, saving 70% of Co2 emissions when compared to traditional fuels, with rainwater harvesting reducing its water needs.

Radisson Blu East Midlands Airport Hotel

By Manchester Airports Group

Located at East Midlands Airport, this striking building takes its inspiration from the theme of aviation and the National Forest with its aluminium ‘wings’ its most distinctive feature. Designed to high environmental standards the hotel is served by a combined heat and power plant that generates energy from waste food oil.
