The Be Smart Award

The Be Smart Award will enable schools and pupils to gain a highly prestigious award for their schools whilst meeting National Curriculum requirements, the Eco Schools programme and the Sustainable Framework to study water. It provides schools a focus for their work on water but gives the freedom to organise the pace and level to suit their own classes.

Several of the schools that have already completed the award have commented that the Be Smart Award complements and supports several schemes and initiatives such as Eco-Schools, Healthy Schools programme and the Sustainable Schools framework.
