Rural Community Council
The Rural Community Council (RCC) is working with Calor and national partners to deliver the FREE energy advice initiative. The initiative works in areas where there is no mains gas and helps people to find ways to reduce their fuel bills by providing advice, support and information.
The RCC‘s thermal imaging camera is available for loan to communities in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
It can be borrowed for up to two weeks from Autumn to Spring each year, and could be of particular use for community groups, parish councils and community building committees. Please note that this offer is not open to individuals.
It can be used to capture infra-red thermal images of buildings as part of projects to raise awareness about energy saving and to identify where insulation improvements are needed.
