The WaterSure Scheme
The WaterSure Scheme (formerly the vulnerable household scheme) is a capped charge. It is intended to help customers who pay for their water charges via a water meter who experience difficulties as a result of high water usage or low income.
If a member of your household is in receipt of benefits and has a medical condition that makes you use more water, or you are in receipt of benefits and have 3 or more children under the age of 19, then you may be able to apply for this scheme.
